SuperPayment is a service company that assists overseas workers to reclaim superannuation. They would like to have a video to explain their simple and efficient service.
I worked in collaboration with the script writer to produce the following storyboards. To make the content more effective and interesting, I have added a visual style that incorporates friendly human characters.
For the purpose of presenting a simple and efficient process, I chose a simple visual style and incorporate characters and scenes in the animation. The customers of Superpayment are from different countries, so I designed different cultural characters.
The difficult part of this project is how to create excitement out of a flat simple style animation. Our solution is to add some playful elements to the animation. For example, to depict an untouchable account, I created an exaggerated hand slapping motion.
The exciting part of motion graphics, I believe, is to bring life out of simple graphics. I really enjoyed creating the playful motions in every element; for example, when presenting a stack of money, I added lines to represent movements when the money gets dropped off into the treasure box. This makes the animation more lively and vivid.
To illustrate the "power of attorney", I created a transition style that visualises the power element, which turns an ordinary process into a more lively animation.
